The Result
This Junction, Toronto project began as a repair of a failed bathroom renovation where critical steps had been missed during the original construction. Moisture had penetrated behind the walls due to a lack of proper waterproofing, leading to mold and damage beyond the bathroom itself. The space was fully demolished to expose the underlying issues and rebuilt from the inside out. Plumbing was corrected, the structure was reinforced and levelled, and a complete waterproofing system was installed to ensure long term performance.
Additional work included resolving an exterior leak, updating flooring throughout the unit, and repainting to restore and unify the space.
Where possible, existing elements such as the vanity, toilet, and fixtures were preserved to reduce unnecessary costs. The result is a clean and functional bathroom and interior that not only looks refined, but performs reliably and gives the client confidence in the space.
